I'm so excited! I received Drew's retouched photos this evening from Angel Pics. They did a really good job. I'm only going to post one because the other one was taken after his death and nothing could be done about his swelling. But they really evened out his skin tone and removed all of the bandages and added back the hair that he had lost. What a wonderful thing for these people to do!

Jana, that photo is just beautiful! What a wonderful gift they gave you with that photo. I know it doens't change how he was, but I'm sure this is a picture you will also treasure. He was a truly beautiful boy!

Oh Jana, that picture looks amazing!! That is so awesome that there are people out there that do this type of thing. I can just imagine what it means to you to have this picture of him, without his tubing and being able to fully see his beautiful face!

I just stumbled across your blog one day and I have kept up through Drew's story. I have 2 friends whose daughters have survived CDH and 1 whose did not. I wanted you to know that we have prayed for your family and continue to do so. Your boy has touched my heart and reminds me to enjoy my boys more. These beautiful pictures are such a blessing. My neice passed away in September and I am going to pass that info on to her mom so they can have some done as well. Thank you for sharing.
